Who we are

AI Payroll Mastery is operated by JGA Ventures Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 14997722, registered office 3 Kensworth Gate, 200-204 High Street South, Dunstable, Bedfordshire, LU6 3HS.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, or you want to exercise any of the rights set out below, email us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you buy or register for the programme we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your billing details and country
• Your payment card details, which go directly to our payment processor and are never stored by us
• Your course progress, including which lessons you have completed and when
• Technical information about your device and browser, and the pages you visit on our site
• The marketing source you arrived from, where that information is available

If you contact us by email we keep that correspondence so we can deal with your query and anything that follows from it.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

Who we share it with

We share your personal information with the following organisations. We do not sell it to anyone.

• Stripe processes payments and handles your card details. Stripe operates in the United States and Ireland.
• HighLevel hosts our website, our checkout, our email sending and the course platform. HighLevel is based in the United States.

To issue your certificate and badge

• PayrollOrg, based in the United States, receives your name, email address, the course name and your completion date, so that your certificate of completion can be issued and your recertification credits recorded.
• Credly by Pearson, based in the United States, receives your first name, last name, email address, the date of issuance and the course name, in order to issue your digital badge.

This sharing is necessary to give you the accreditation that forms part of the programme you have bought. If you would rather we did not share your details with them, we will not be able to issue your certificate or your badge.

PayrollOrg marketing, only if you opt in

At registration you can choose to let PayrollOrg email you about their own payroll courses, events and education. That is entirely optional and nothing else changes if you decline. If you do opt in, PayrollOrg receives your contact details and becomes responsible for that marketing as a separate data controller, subject to their own privacy policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, or by unsubscribing from their emails directly.

Others

We also share information with our accountants and professional advisers where that is necessary, and with anyone we are legally required to disclose it to.

Sending information outside the UK

Stripe, HighLevel, PayrollOrg and Credly by Pearson all operate in the United States. Where your information leaves the UK it is protected by an approved safeguard, which will be either the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or the recipient's certification under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

This site sets a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. They keep your session active as you move between pages, they keep your basket and your login working, and they help Stripe detect fraudulent payments at the checkout. Cookies of this kind do not require your consent, but you are entitled to know they are there.

We do not currently use any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. If we add any, we will put a consent banner in place first, and nothing will be set unless you accept it.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but if you block the strictly necessary ones the checkout and the course platform will not work properly.

How long we keep it

• Your account and course access records, for as long as you have access to the programme, plus two years after that
• Payment and transaction records, for seven years, to meet UK accounting and tax requirements
• Support correspondence, for two years after your query is resolved
• Marketing consent records, for as long as you remain subscribed plus two years, so we are able to show that consent was given

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Ask us to delete your information, where we have no continuing reason to keep it
• Ask us to restrict how we use it
• Object to us using it, where we rely on legitimate interests
• Ask us to transfer it to you or to another provider in a portable format
• Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time
• Opt out of marketing at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us

Email [email protected] to exercise any of these and we will respond within one month.

Bear in mind that if you ask us to delete your information we will not be able to keep your access to the programme open, and we may still have to retain payment records to meet our legal obligations.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we have a chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change is significant, and particularly where it affects who we share your information with, we will email you about it.
